My Very First Blog! Oh, My!
LEAP OF FATE, from Cobblestone Press, LLC will be coming out in electronic format on February 2, 2007! Yay!
I'm very proud of Leap. It's my first paranormal erotic e-publication. It is marginally a tale of what can happen when a woman agrees to be a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding. Besides "The Bridesmaid's Dress," I mean. And we've all heard stories about that--or experienced "The Dress."
But, it is mostly the story of an enduring love and an exploration of life, death, love and the hereafter. We are all fascinated by the concept of love, therefore it should come as no surprise I would delight in writing about that subject and so many enjoy reading about it. But, the metaphysical, the paranormal...There has been an explosion of interest in these subjects. Why?
I think, in some way, the process of searching for explanations for the unexplainable, gives a sense of control. A sense of comfort. That, yes. We can understand why things happen the way they do. In reality, perhaps we understand. Perhaps not.
I lived for many years in Santa Barbara, California. It's close neighbor, Summerland, was actually founded as a Spiritualist colony--the movement in the late 19th Century that sought to communicate with the dead through seances. I even took a college course in Paranormal Phenomena. I think it is a combination of this and some personal experiences that inspire me to write in the paranormal genre. Do you believe in paranormal phenomena? If so, have you had any paranormal experiences?

Yay! Congrats on your first blog!
And no paranormal experiences for me. Unless you include reading Leap, which I happen to know is awesome!
Thanks Kat and Lillian for visiting! And thanks Lil, for the compliment!
Hi Antonia and congrats on the new blog! Yay!!!!
Wow, I would've loved to have been able to do a 'college course in Paranormal Phenomena'. That sounds like something I would definitely enjoy. :D
As far as the paranormal goes, I'm intrigued by it and constantly explore the themes - along with love - in my own tales.
Wow, Antonia... Your website and blog look fantastic. What a wonderful job your webdesigner did. I'm going to add to my blog if you don't mind...
